A study tour of the Saitama Head Office Factory, organized by the Japan Environmental Club (a specified non-profit corporation, URL: https://www.kankyouclub.or.jp/), was held on May 10th. A total of 17 people participated in the tour, including Mr. Hachiya, the Secretary-General of the corporation.
After an overview explanation using company guides and facility - related materials, the participants actually entered the factory. They observed the PET bottle processing process, the sorting process of home appliance plastics, the pellet manufacturing process, and so on with great enthusiasm. While doing so, they checked the intermediate products discharged during these processes and the finished products.
Although it was a short time, people from various industries participated, which made us once again feel the growing interest in the environment and recycling.
